Shhhhhhhhhh!

FOOP! was reviewed in LIBRARY JOURNAL, "The bible of the library world!" It's read by over 100,000 librarians across the country! And they only review about 6,000 books a year, out of 40,000 or so submitted...that's 15%, people. Pretty freakin' good for the little book that could.
Library Journal called FOOP!, among other nice things, "A seriocomic romp through time and space."
A romp!
Comic!
Serio!
And look what's happening to all of the librarians who, based on the review, read FOOP! The above picture was sent to Chris this morning by Margie Atwood, a librarian at The Chester County Library in Exton, PA. It seems that shortly after plowing through FOOP! she had the irresistable urge to climb to the top of a mountain of books, throw her spectacles into the wind, and strike a sexy pose while being surrounded by cops and with God himself shining his holy light down upon her.
Apparently Margie held the pose long enough for someone to paint the picture.
For comparisons sake, here's what Margie looked like before she read FOOP! This picture was taken for an instructional video on how to be a really good librarian.
Just goes to show ya how a book can change your life--even a silly one with a name like FOOP!

Well done on the LJ review. They don't use the "serio" term lightly.
Pepino, I hear you're doing the audiobook version. I didn't know they made microphones that small!

Yes, an audiobook version of Foop! is in the works!
It will feature the smooth and sultry voice of Mr. Chris Genoa himself, along with all kinds of other sonic goodies.
Coming soon to an ipod near you...
